My life is really going great right now. School is good and I am about to get my license. My mom just had surgery on her knee and is still laid up in bed for a while. I don't like being stuck at home all the time but i know it's for a good cause. I love my mom and I don't like it when she is in pain. I just wanted to tell her thanks for all that she has done for me.

yep, now im 16. and it's not much different. although i have already been on my first date, which was pretty exciting. but other than that, not much has happened. i am just excited to get out of school for the summer. we only have one week left. well, i want summer to come because i have a lot of stuff planned.

hey, i haven't posted for a while, and its all my fault. quite a bit has gone on with my life. especially with all this talk of the swine flu going around. it gets me kind of nervous. but oh well, what can i do about it. anyway, i am getting way excited about camp this year. especially for laurels camp since i will be 16 by then and i get to go!!!! it is going to be soooo much fun. well, i have been pretty busy because i babysit for this family who lives right across the street from us 3 times a week. so that keeps me pretty busy. but other than that, i just love this warmer weather. :)

So, Facebook is pretty cool. There are so many things you can do with it.

Anyway, so I cleaned my room again today. It has taken me a while. And I have to go babysitting tonight for Enrichment.

But other than that, not much has gone on. Just go to school, eat, sleep, go to church that kind of thing.

But I don't have any homework which is always a good thing.

so not much has gone on. I went to the dentist today, and lucky for me, i don't have any cavities. i am so happy. well, anyway, school is going good. i worked out way hard in my fit for life class. i about killed myself. well, its just all work and no play for me. just kidding.

SICK AGAIN...

I am sick again for about the 4th time in the past couple of months. So I stayed home today.
My mom got crowned yesterday, so now she is more queen than ever. (Of course she has always been a queen to me.) But they put her through a lot of pain. Although, I think she is feeling better today except that her gums still hurt.

birthdays

Brynna had her birthday yesterday. We now have 3 teenagers living at our house. Which is going to be pretty crazy.
We had to go get pictures today which I wasn't to happy about because I am sick AGAIN. But it wasn't too bad. They actually turned out really cute.

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!!

Today has been a little bit crazy because it has been snowing a lot. I also have to babysit tonight. But Brynna is babysitting right now and James had to work today. So it has been a pretty fun day.
My mom is totally amazing and I wanted to dedicate this Valentine's Day to her and I want to tell her how much I love her. She is the best mom in the world. And my dad is the best as well.
Anyway, I didn't have to go driving today because of the snow. I was kind of bummed, because it was going to be my last day and then I am done, but they had to cancel. Oh well, it will give me more time to practice. :)

Well, now I'm almost done driving at school, which I am very excited about. But I still have to take my driving test tomorrow, and I have to drive on the Freeway. But other than that, I'm pretty much done with driving (not really).
I got to watch my brother cook with his Pro Start team. It was really cool. It smelled so good.
I have also master making foot bags (a project we did in sewing). They are kind of like bean bags except smaller. I have made about 8. So that has kept me occupied.
I had the opportunity to go to our YW basketball game. We lost (big surprise jk.) but the girls still had a ton of fun. So it was all worth it in the end.
I gave my mom my sickness so she has been sick for the past 2 days. Poor mom.
I had to run the mile in Fit For Life today and I almost passed out. It has been quite a while since I have done that and it was not a pleasant experience trying to run especially when you are out of shape. Well, that can give me something to work on.

I have been sick for the past 2 days. It is no fun. And my brother got an iPod touch that is soo cool. Well, I have to drive on wednesday for school. :( I am not excited about that.

So, I went driving again today. It is pretty exciting. I also learned that there are only 2 miamaids in my young womens group. so we are going to have soo much fun. And the fee for camp went up again. whoopee!! but i am really looking forward to going to camp. and going to efy again this year. it is going to be so much fun. but other then that, not much has happened.

DRIVING!!!

Driving is scary and fun at the same time. But I like it. And I got to go out on the road for the first time yesterday. It was scary. But I have to start driving at school next week. I am not looking forward to that. But I guess there are some things in life that we have to so even if we don't like it. But I am really liking having my braces off still. I got my retainer and I only have to wear it at night. But other than that, nothing much has really gone on, except that we started the UBSCT today. We did the writing portion today. We had a prompt of whether or not they should still allow computers at school because some kids just use them to play games instead of getting their work done. Anyway, it was pretty boring. And I finished about 15 minutes early so I just took a nap. I also got to come home for lunch today. My mom is so awesome for always having something for us to eat. She is the best mom in the whole wide world. I love her sooo much. She is amazing.

I GOT MY BRACES OFF!!!!

So, I am totally loving having my braces off. Although it feels soo weird. But, don't you think my teeth look great??

Well, I have come to the end. I get my braces off TOMORROW! I am sooooooooo excited. And I also found out that I have to start driving on Feb. 11. I am not looking forward to that. I even have to drive on valentine's day. Well, I am excited for one thing. That is that we have a morningside on friday (which is a late start day). It is going to be soo much fun.

My mom went up to my grandma's today because it is her birthday.

Well, I did it. I finally cleaned my room. Of course I didn't do it alone, and it wouldn't have gotten done at all without my mom's help. She is so awesome. I feel so blessed to have, who I consider to be, the best mom in the world.

Well, I was able to go to the Draper Temple Open House on Friday. That temple is soooo pretty. After that we went to dinner and then we decided to stop by my grandparents house. Well, me an Brynna ended up staying at their house over night so that my mom wouldn't have to worry about us on saturday when her and my dad went to my grandma's birthday party.

Something else I am looking forward to, besides getting my braces off on wednesday, is that we are going to a BYU basketball game. I know it is going to be soo much fun. We are going on Saturday. But before the game, we are going to see my new cousin, Quinn. He looks so cute, just from his pictures, and I can't wait to hold him.

School is going good. We are preparing for the UBSCT in my english class. :( We have to take that test next month. But all of my other classes are going good. We got our report cards today, and I only had one B. So I was pretty happy about that. I just hope I can keep those grades up. I hope that I will be able to get an academic sholarship when I start college. But until then, I will have to study hard to keep my grades looking good.

This semester is going to be soo much fun. I am really excited. I have some fun classes that I am really looking forward to. But I am also looking forward to basketball tonight. I am not going to play, I am our team cheerleader. But Brynna is sick again today so she can't come and play. I just hope we win. But I couldn't go to our last game because I didn't feel too great. But I feel better now, so I am going tonight. My mom also might take me to take my driving test AGAIN. Hopefully I pass this time, but I am going to study so that I can do better. Well, I get my braces off in less than a week. I am actually getting them off on wednesday instead of tuesday because I can't miss drivers ed. So I will have to miss english but i guess that's ok.

i started drivers ed today, and i am scared to death. i just can't imagine me behind the wheel of a car. well, i got lost on the way to my fit for life class. it was pretty embarrassing. but for the most part all of my classes are pretty fun.

I took my drivers test today. I almost made it, but i missed one too many. Literally! I got 78% and I had to get 80% to pass. But I was pretty proud of myself because I had only read two pages of the book. So after that, we went and had lunch with my dad. Then we came home and me and my sister got a call to go babysitting. So it was all work and no play for me. Not really because I still had a ton of fun.

I am still sick, but i am glad that I have been able to keep some things down. I guess I feel a little bit better, but for the most part, I still feel really yucky. But I might be able to help my dad work on our downstairs. Well, I hope that I will be able to make it to church tomorrow. But from the looks of it right now, I don't think so.

Soo... I am home sick today. I guess it just passes from one person to the next. Well, let me tell ya. It's no fun being sick. I am hoping that I didn't miss too much at school. Well, one of our good friends is coming over tomorrow and I am really excited.

My sister has been sick all day. I feel so bad for her. She didn't go to school, but I did as usual. Next week we start new school schedules, so today was my last day in Child Development. I am really going to miss that class. I just love learning about kids. They facinate me so much. But I am excited to be getting my divers permit on tuesday!! I can finally get on the road. YEAH!!

My teacher said that we only have a short time to live and that we shouldn't squander away our time. He said to not let schooling get in the way of our education. And if we want to know something, we should find out for ourselves. I wish that is what I could do. He said you learn more by experiencing things yourself, than by listening to other people's experiences. I believe him. But for now, I am stuck with a daily routine of wake up, go to school, come home, go to bed. Granted there are a few things in between. But for the most part my life is pretty dull right now. I wish I could go exploring and see exotic places, but I can't. :(

My life as it stands right now

It seems as each year passes, that I am getting older. In some ways I want to stay young, but mostly I am excited to grow up and experience life to the fullest. I am really loving life right now. I am looking forward to begin driving in May. But for now things are laying low.
